Rome - 9th-11th December 2006
City of Rome in Italy. Amazing city with lots of ancient ruins and cultural stuff. Vatican City was the highlight of our stop here. And it was also here where we started our craze on gelato and pizza and pasta!

Naples - 12th December 2006
City of Naples in Italy, rather dodgy city but the sunset view of Naples Bay is spectacular.
Ruins of Pompeii - 12th December 2006
Visit to Pompeii to see the ruins excavated since the eruption of Mount Vesuvius buried the town of Pompeii in AD 79.
Florence - 13th-15th December 2006
City of Florence in Italy, visits to the art galleries to see Michelangelo's Statue of David and works of the genius Leonardo Da Vinci.
Pisa - 16th December 2006

Sienna - 17th December 2006
A small medieval town, nothing much but it was nice taking a relaxing day walking up and down the many slopes in the city.

City of Milan in Italy. High end shopping districts! But due to funding, nothing was bought. Nice city though.
San Siro Stadium - 20th December 2006
Caught a soccer match at the humongous San Siro Stadium in Milan, home to AC Milan and Intermilan. Match between AC Milan and Catania.
Switzerland - 22nd - 25th December 2006
Spent most of the time in Interlaken, had a white christmas! Trips to the cities of Luzern, Bern, Zurich and Geneva as well.

Loch Ness - 3rd January 2007
Visit to Loch Ness, the famous lake where there were reportedly sightings of the Loch Ness Monster. But nothing seen! Urquhart Castle was pretty good too, just overlooking the Loch Ness.
Rosslyn Chapel - 5th January 2007
Visit to this 15th century church in the village of Roslin, Midlothian, Scotland. The church was featured in 'Da Vinci's Code'.
